Samer Dar, DDS, MD - Oral Surgeon

Dr. Samer DarEducation

Dr. Dar is a native of Spring, Texas. He attended Klein High School and went to college at Southern Methodist University on a scholastic scholarship where he earned a B.S. in Biology. He then went on to earn his dental degree from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. He graduated in the top 15% of his class on the Dean's honor list. Dr. Dar received numerous awards in Dental School including the presigious American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons Award and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology Award.

After completing his dental degree, Dr. Dar received his medical degree from Stony Brook School of Medicine in New York. He completed a year of General Surgery training and a six-year residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at North Shore-LIJ in New York. During his residency, he obtained extensive training in Craniofacial Surgery, Orthognathic Surgery, Cleft Lip/Cleft Palate repair, Facial Trauma, Facial Reconstruction, Facial Cosmetic Surgery, Head and Neck Pathology, TMJ Surgery and Dental Implants.

Dr. Dar is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support and Advanced Trauma Life Support from the American College of Surgeons and the American Heart Association.

In his free time Dr. Dar enjoys running, reading and most importantly spending time with his family. He is excited about being back home in Texas.

Popi Stylianou, DDS, MS - Periodontist

Dr. Popi StylianouEducation

Dr. Popi Stylianou is from Nicosia, Cyprus. Upon graduating first in her class from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki School of Dentistry, in Greece, she worked in private practice as a general dentist for two years. Subsequently, Dr. Stylianou obtained her Certificate in Periodontics and Master of Science degree from the University of Minnesota. In addition, she completed a one-year fellowship on complex implant restorations and full-mouth rehabilitation at the University of Minnesota's Implant and Contemporary Dentistry Center.

Her extensive training includes periodontal and implant procedures, periodontal adjunctive surgeries to orthodontics (surgical exposures of impacted teeth, temporary anchorage devices, accelerated osteogenic orthodontics), as well as immediate temporization of implants for optimal esthetics. Her grasp of prosthodontic principles allows her to manipulate soft tissue and facilitate the restorative phase for her referring colleagues.

In addition to her private practice commitment, Dr. Stylianou is a Clinical Assistant Professor at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, School of Dentistry in both graduate and undergraduate clinics.

In her free time she likes to travel and spend time with her husband. Dr. Stylianou is excited to provide top quality periodontal and implant services to the people of Tomball and surrounding communities. Her professional yet gregarious disposition makes working with her an enjoyable experience.

Elaine Brown – Administrator

Elaine was born and raised here in Tomball, TX. She graduated from Tomball High School and went on to graduate with a B.S. in Biology from Texas A&M University. Elaine has a background in sales, management and both the medical and dental fields. She has performed various duties in the general dentistry field for almost 10 years from assisting to administration. She met her fiancé, Jake Brown in Junior High School, but began dating in college. He was born and raised in the Tomball area as well, and they will be married in April of this year. Elaine is very excited to finally be working back in the Tomball area, and helping to serve with this community's first dental specialty clinic.
